Demeter offers water management and monitoring services by providing, installing and maintaining water logging equipment. Water use data from the installed logger is transmitted into software, where customers can access the data at any time and from anywhere. The software, called Utilities Manager, interprets data into volume of water consumption as well as the cost.
We also provide customers with a reporting and trend analysis tool as well as a daily checking service to ensure customers can be promptly notified about any changes in data. Our checking service covers 7 days including holidays. Other than our water logging and checking service, we perform site investigations, leak detections and repairs, billing analyses, reviews of surface area drainage, water audits and consultancy projects.
Automatic Meter Reading (AMR)

Automatic Meter Reading (AMR) allows organisations to truly understand their water consumption, which enables reduction or elimination of unnecessary water use. The installed AMR equipment known as a logger is linked to our unique online water management system (Utilities Manager) via a server, where the transferred data can be viewed 24/7 at your own convenience.
The online management system interprets and displays the data as both volume of water consumption and costs. It also provides tools for reporting and trend analysis. In addition, AMR enables you to monitor and ensure accurate meter readings from your water suppliers, thereby avoiding inaccurate billing. The collected data can also be used to benchmark against similar buildings/industries. Any abnormal water consumption pattern can be identified, which could be caused by leakage, inefficient processes or human behaviour. The logger collects data from your meter every 15 minutes but can be adjusted according to the needs of each customer.
Before installing the equipment we help you gain permission from your local Water Company. Once the logger is installed, we identify opportunities for savings and make recommendations for reducing water use based on your profile.

Our water audit service investigates water usage at your site to understand where and how water is being used as well as identifying waste. The audit can define the problem such as an underground leak or internal running water, and help identify potential cost saving opportunities. We would make recommendations for each customer that could help reduce water use. Leak Detection and Repair
"Identify and repair leaks in difficult areas"
Leakage often occurs underground making it difficult to detect, and if left unattended can contribute significantly towards utility bills. Our initial findings from a leak detection system often find that each site loses £10,000 per year on average due to leakage.
We carry out a comprehensive survey within your site to detect leakage. Once we detect any leak, we can arrange for our contractors to repair them.
